"A ribbon of coruscating fire snaked its way across the night sky; the molten remains of the MedShip burning fiercely with the friction of the atmosphere, and taking with it all hopes of the vaccine on board. Douglas was now the only vaccinated person on planet Musgrave, and it was going to stay that way. 'Great,' he thought to himself. '20 million people on this colony and I'll be the only one with skin in less than 20 hours. Unless we can salvage something from the MedShip wreckage. But what could have caused it to crash?' Ha ha. Let me try.
