I anticipated not liking this book as: 1) Most horror anthologies I have read this year have been disappointments, and 2)I generally regarded zombie fiction as lacking in depth & potential. But what a surprise! While there were a few splatter punk level tales, on the whole this book was filled with variety & surprises. Some writers have given far more thought to the concept of what it might mean for zombies to exist that could have been anticipated. A wild, varied, and quite entertaining anthology.
