Breakdown of Lightspeed Honors

At Lightspeed, we had a great 2010. Ten out of the sixteen original stories published in Lightspeed in 2010 have now been either reprinted in a best-of-the-year anthology or nominated for a major award.

Here’s a breakdown of all the honors our various stories have received thus far:

    And it’s well deserved! Publishing Arvies alone made Lightspeed one of my new favorite magazines. Combine that with the progressive Flower, Mercy, Needle, Chain, the quirky Standard Loneliness Package, and the beautiful Amaryllis, and the success of Lighspeed quickly becomes gratuitous. My fingers are crossed that Arvies wins the Nebula! It certainly deserves it.
