Video Transcript

A young man in a yellow Oxford shirt and a yellow and red tie stares directly at the camera. His tousled hair, likely combed earlier that day, got the best of him before he managed to hit record. He stands holding a metal and plastic model of a complex machine in his hands. Behind him is a cheap bookcase burdened with thick technical manuals.

“Hello. My name is Travis Henning,” he says, “and, um, you don’t know me.” He laughs nervously. “But I, uh, am perfecting a process which will . . . a process of locating things based on the importance, uh, the psychological impact the object or person, or—you know . . . animal—has had on an individual.”

Travis then continues to describe the process in general terms. He uses phrases like “bioelectric signature” and “quantum entanglement” frequently, but never stops to explain them.

“But I need additional funding to perfect and develop the machine. That’s why I’ve launched this Kickstarter campaign. If you help me, I can help you. Because my process will find anything. Anything at all.

“Thank you for watching, and for being a backer.”

THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Risks and Challenges

I have not had the opportunity to fully test the process, but I am quite confident that I can make it work. Once I get the funding it should be quite easy to find people’s lost items in short order.
