Due to the high volume of excellent material already in inventory, Lightspeed Magazine will be temporarily be closing to submissions, from April 15 through July 14. Submissions will reopen July 15.

1:32 am Mar-16-2010April 15 is correct. I’ll have to disagree with you about the one month advance notice not making sense. We wanted anyone working on stories for us to know about the closure in advance so that they would have a deadline for submitting.
I think it would be much more awkward to close with no advance notice of any kind.
