NEWS: New Humble Bundle, “Made With Kickstarter” Bundle, Features NIGHTMARE and HELP FUND MY ROBOT ARMY!!!

The latest Humble Book Bundle is out, and it’s a “Made With Kickstarter” Bundle. It includes issue #33 of Nightmare (which was originally funded on Kickstarter), and HELP FUND MY ROBOT ARMY!!! and Other Improbable Crowdfunding Projects (which of course was funded on Kickstarter).

You can pay-what-you-want to get the bundle, which includes a great assortment of titles. Here’s more about the Bundle and how Humble Bundle works, from the press release:

Kickstart your book collection! The biggest books on Kickstarter are now available in a bundle! Name your price for To Be Or Not To Be, God Hates Astronauts, Imagined Realms Book 1, Hollow World, and Help Fund My Robot Army. If you pay more than the average price, you’ll also get The Big Feminist BUT, A Hero at the End of the World, The Great Way Trilogy, The Sleep of Reason: An Anthology of Horror, Steampunk World, and Nightmare Magazine #33. If you pay $15 or more, you’ll receive all of the above plus Code Monkey Save World, Ava’s Demon, The Warden and the Wolf King, and MOTHER RUSSIA.

Pledge what you want. The contents of this bundle would cost you up to $165 if purchased separately, but here at Humble Bundle, you pay what you want.

Read Anywhere. These comics and books are available in multiple formats including CBZ, PDF, MOBI, and ePub, so they work on your computer, e-readers, iPads, cell phones, and a wide array of mobile devices! Instructions and a list of recommended reading programs can be found here for comics and here for books.

Support charity. Choose where the money goes — between the publisher and two charitable causes (EFF and First Book) via the PayPal Giving Fund. For details on how this works, click here. If you like this bundle, feel free to drop something in the Humble tip jar.

If you’ve already got my stuff in the Bundle,  you should still totally go check it out, if for no other reason than it includes Ryan North’s AMAZINGLY BRILLIANT choose-your-own-adventure novel, To Be or Not to Be, which is probably about what you think it’s about.

So what are you waiting for? Go check it out!

NEWS: PRESS START TO PLAY Giveaway & Signing at SDCC, Saturday July 11!

Daniel H. Wilson and I will be signing copies of PRESS START TO PLAY at San Diego Comic Con on Saturday July 11th from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the PenguinRandom House booth (#1520).

You might ask, how is that possible since the book isn’t out yet, and indeed won’t be out until August 18? I’M GLAD YOU ASKED, fictional person. Vintage is going to be GIVING AWAY a limited number of copies of PRESS START TO PLAY at the aforementioned booth #1520, where you can also get Daniel and I to sign them.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE. Also joining us at the signing table will be several contributors to the anthology, including: Daniel (natch), Austin Grossman, Hugh Howey, Seanan McGuire, Jessica Barber, Micky Neilson, Chris Avellone, and Rhianna Pratchett! [links to their SDCC schedules]

AND if you have more of a Pokemon sort of philosophy (“Gotta catch ’em all”), there’s also a few other contributors attending SDCC who sadly won’t be able to join us at the signing, but perhaps you’ll be able to track down otherwise. They are: Ernest Cline, Andy Weir, and Charlie Jane Anders.

If you miss out, though, we’ll also have these sweet bookmarks!
